Friday Maha Sadhana with Lakshmi

Master classes for intermediate-advanced students. These amazing sessions begin with spiritual purification practices and continue with in-depth and challenging Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa Advanced Posture Series, a challenging and physically absorbing Hatha practice, including Mantra, Purification, Pranayama, Meditation, Deep Relaxation and Yogic Philosophy, all steeped in the classical tradition. Personal attention and help are given throughout the session as well as direction toward to true goal of Yoga. This is an advanced practice, not for beginners.

Restorative Yoga is a gentle, deeply relaxing practice ideal for recovery from injury or illness, stress reduction, to compliment an active practice, or to simply renew the mind, body and spirit. In this transforming practice you will learn how to slow down and work deeply within yourself to bring you back to your natural state of being calm and content. We will use simple breathing and concentration tools to assist you in restoring and letting go in the asanas. This class is assist you in learning how to regain your power to maintain vitality and good health, which are so extremely important. A restorative class will enhance your current yoga practice or any physical disciplines you currently do. All levels welcome.

Children's Yoga Retreat with Leslie
11:30am-3:30pm

This retreat day will include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices) and satsang. It will include exposing children to the high spiritual teachings that enhance their interaction with worldly activities and meditation practices that will educate the children on how to deal with emotions and to quiet their minds. The workshop will also include a special children's kirtan. A vegetarian snack will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Ages 5-10.

This retreat day will include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), kirtan, meditation, satsang, and high spiritual teachings appropriate for teenagers that enhance their interaction with worldly activities. Also included will be karma yoga to teach teens the importance of selfless service, study of the yamas & niyamas (yogic principles), and a yogic art project. A vegetarian supper will be provided. Pre-registration required (please note when registering if there are any dietary restrictions). All levels of teenagers are welcome to attend. Ages 12-18.
